1. Overview
Parade Panic ("the Game") respects player privacy. This policy explains what information is collected when you create an account or play the game, how it is used, and how it is protected.
2. Information We Collect & How It Is Used
We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide account services and maintain your game experience:
- Account Credentials: When you register an account, we collect your chosen Username, Email Address, and a cryptographically Hashed Password. This data is used solely to authenticate your login, allow account recovery, and identify your profile on game leaderboards.
- OAuth Social Sign-In: If you choose to log in via Google or Apple, we process your provider's secure authentication token to verify your identity. We do not access or store your contacts, profile photos, or personal social media data.
- Gameplay & Save State Progress: Your level completions, star ratings, tower upgrades, unlocked achievements, and high scores are saved to maintain your campaign progress across devices.
- Technical & Operational Logs: Our web servers automatically log standard network request details (e.g., IP address, timestamp, browser user-agent) for essential operational purposes, including rate limiting, DDoS protection, and server security.
3. No Selling, Tracking, or Advertising
We do NOT sell, rent, trade, or transfer your personal data to any advertisers, data brokers, or third parties for any purpose whatsoever.
Parade Panic does not contain third-party ad networks, tracking pixels, or cross-site behavioral profiling software.
4. Data Protection & Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to safeguard your information:
- Passwords are salted and hashed using modern cryptographic algorithms before storage. Plaintext passwords are never saved or accessible.
- All data transmissions between your browser and our servers are encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer / Transport Layer Security (HTTPS/TLS).
5. Data Retention & Account Deletion
Your account data is retained for as long as your account remains active. You may request full deletion of your account, email address, and associated save state at any time by contacting us or through the in-game profile menu. Upon account deletion, your personal data is permanently removed from our active databases.
